We have received notice that teachers, professionals, and support staff will be on strike from November 21 until November 23, 2023. This strike is initiated by the unions representing employees of Kativik Ilisarniliriniq (KI). It will start on November 21 at midnight and will end on November 23 at 11:59 pm.

Its organization requires adjustments to school scheduling due to mobilization and picketing activities announced by the unions.

As a result, we are required to close all KI educational facilities (schools and adult education centres) for the duration of this strike.

Classes, school transportation and emergency daycare will resume on November 24, 2023.
