Since Kativik Ilisarniliriniq is not governed by the Education Act (R.S.Q., c. I-13.3), certain parts of these courses must be taken in accordance with the special rules that apply to Kativik Ilisarniliriniq under the Education Act for Cree, Inuit and Naskapi Native Persons (R.S.Q., A-33.1).

It is also important to note that the General Administration offers personalized training courses for plenary commissioners. These courses cover topics such as:

  • their roles and responsibilities,
  • ethics,
  • remuneration,
  • and the powers and tools necessary to carry out their mandate.
